Lake Samish WA Floating Dock Replacement

Challenge

Matching dock and pile hoops up to the pilings that were driven to an out of square dock, removing old crumbling dock at public launch without blocking the launch for excessive amounts of time.

Scope of Work

Describe the scope of work completed on this project.

Approach

We designed the dock around the needs specified by the client, while making sure the dock meets current regulations.

Result

Client has a far more stable and buoyant dock that will be maintenance free for years to come.

Twin W Development Completed Project

Challenge

The Columbia River in itself creates quite a challenge, but this particular project required precise excavation into the river bank to create a staircase to elevation that allowed a perfect and shallow angle to the dock. This also needed to be positioned correctly to get to the required water depth stated for the permitted structure.

Scope of Work

We fabricated the gangways, dock sections and piling hoops to all work together to create a very strong and stable place to enjoy the river!

Approach

Lots of careful measuring that comes from years of experience, we excavated to the proper depths and angles to achieve the permitted values.

Result

The result was a beautiful set up with very happy customers, the exact results we strive for!

HOA Dock Orondo WA

Challenge

Installing a full HOA dock system on the Columbia River required coordinating a large-scale floating dock layout with a long aluminum gangway, concrete shore anchor, and pile driving — all while working from barges in challenging river conditions.

Scope of Work

Full dock system including custom aluminum gangway fabrication, floating dock sections, pile driving, and a reinforced concrete shore anchor footing.

Approach

We mobilized our full barge and equipment fleet, fabricated the gangway and dock components in-house, drove piles to depth, and assembled the complete system on the water.

Result

A complete, permit-compliant HOA dock facility on the Columbia River — built to last and ready for the community to enjoy.
